Hey dudes...

I am looking for a weedfin equivalent to at 40-42 cm mfc rc2, i am using it with a 115x-fire and 8m2 v8.

It needs to be spinout proof and not provide any more lift than the mfc's. Speed is not as important as these to factors.

Have you got any suggestions for me?

Are you in Europe, Denmark? I'm using Makani Fins since last year, they have a good range of weed fins and they are now shiping internationnaly if you can't find some in your area.

Pinao and hahalua could be an option for you probably more the Pinao. To be honnest with you I only tried the weed/freestyle the Naia and the Mano(wave weed) and they are working really well way better than what I was using before. PM me or send me an email to nord_roi#hotmail.com.
cheers

Thanks
I've written a mail to Pio.

The hahalua seems interesting, but the fin guide says i need a 43cm. that seems kind of big.

I was using a choco 40 weedy in my 75 wide F2 SXL generally with 7.8m sail). Now using a JP36cm weedy. The JP is far better, I really recommend it.

Probably like anything, this is a mesure for average sailor, it could be shorter for more advance rider? But you are asking for a fin to ride on a 8m, can't be too short also. Ask them what they are using, they are currently testing fins on a trip where weeds is present, probably they have feedback from users there.
Cheers.
