Hi all

I recently purchased a 2018 enigma boom and I was told it fits Rdm and Sdm. I was wondering if anyone knows do I need to remove the red rubber thingy at the front for Sdm or shim for Rdm or does it fit both as is ?

Mine fits both nicely without doing anything but tightening the rope. I used it for a couple of years on RDM but recently rigged on SDM (without sailing) and it seemed to fit better.

I use a separate rubber shim on my RDM mast with my Enigma

It seems that I can use both SDM and RDM as is or shim for RDM, whatever works best at the time !
