I don't think all those prerequisites go into the same sentence well.
I've done my old slalom board with an off the shelf grip additive, Berger Jet dry. There's another one by White Knight but its far too fine.
For a neat job use your spray gun with a 2 pack paint or epoxy (uv resistant). Tape off the area, spray on the resin then use a salt shaker with the grip to evenly dust on the grip. Don't mix the dust into the paint, it'll come out slippery. Remove tape before the resin dries. Voila.
You can use the roler as stated but you don't need that much resin staying on the board, I'd suggest roll a little on then squeegee it around the deck to spread it alot further if you aren't using the spray equipment.
