Yep Ratz, I have been sailing with him recently...38k in very lumpy chop I can not get near..must be the fins he uses... I hear he is working on a range of HoverBoards next!
Heh gavnwed I have the 95 and the 137. Personally, I find the boards brilliant...! There are a lot of good boards out there. My likes on the Mistral, incredibly forgiving in chop, ride is not as harsh as some, thus you can push in choppy water (I would go as far as to say the softest riding slalom board i have been on) Gybes very very well and maintains extremely good speed through lulls Cons, longer than most, hence the initial feel of the board is different, however once you are over this no issue. Fin choice is paramount. This relevant to any board. Talk to Slowboat, the fins he makes are first rate and bloody fast, as well ask Jesper. I have those as well and find the fit real good. Rake of the fin to rocker line is important to board control and speed. You will do well on these boards...love em oh....yep they are quick!!!! no doubt
Fin rack is critical to match board rocker thats good to know when l purchase my new board from slowboat l might ask him. Thats a buma l only purchase a couple of meanline fins.hope they work.fingers xed.
