The good thing about kites is they can crash on land as well as on the water... This brings a whole new dimension to aquatic sports and in my opinion helps advance the human race in general.

Assuming you're talking about the windsurfing clip now..

Yes - some people do that on purpose.. I've seen the move explained somewhere once when I was looking at technique for learning the forward loop. I'll see if I can find it for you..

Unreal. I've swung the rig around bodysurfing like this and gybed, but never managed to control and thought it was impossible.
