hi guys, hoping someone may have some rdm cams for a 2011 ka koncept 5.8m? would it work to simply space out sdm cams on an rdm mast?

help would be much appreciated as i dont want to buy a new mast and rdms are very forgiving on this size sail.

Get onto the KA website, they're not that expensive. And they work really well on an rdm, especially in that size. Martin Love maybe around the traps too (on this website) and he should be able to point you in the right direction.

have a talk to Sam wss, I use a rdm on my n/p rsr 4/6 to 5/8, the cams I use are the small cam they use to use on the bottom rs6 sails and the small cam for the 4the cam on most n/p sails , the length of most cams are the same except they have a different camber , this is also the setup I use for my ka5/0 koncept

Hi Stu,

The RDM masts work really well in the smaller Koncepts but you really need the RDM cams to make it work best. The standard cams are too wide even if you can space them up enough and may jam against the luff pocket, hindering rotation.

For 2015 Koncept 4.2, 4.6 and 5.0 will be RDM specific, all other sizes inter-changeable and supplied with SDM cams but can be swapped when ordering.

I have no knowledge as to whether the small Pryde cams will fit, worth a try if can get your hands on them easily. The RDM cams KA use are the Tech cam, same as Loft.
