I don't know how you southerners work out your droughts but up here we know the 'official' end of the draught happens when the farmers put in for flood relief

lol,

when you say southerners you should really say brisbanites and welloesbians.

southern bayside has never had a water shortage. we get our water straight from the springs at stradbroke island.

that's why we are happier.

but yes, most of eastern qld has been flooded for months now. poor buggers.
