i've been looking around for a fin bag and unable to find anything, looking for something that will take my 70cm fins also.

the prolimit looks like it will do the job but unable to find one.

I use the arms of old wetsuits, cut to length. Dont slip off in the back of the van!

But for a 70cm fin you might have to use a leg

NP did a good one years ago with pockets for 5 or 6 fins, it unzipped and then u could flip thru the fins like a book. Also had bits for scredrivers and fin bolts etc.
Trouble is, 35cm was tight.

Perhaps get a canvas / upholsterer to copy one and just make it massive! You could make the pockets yourself with nylon and clear PVC on any old sweing machine so it would be cheap to get the outside cover and zipper bit done professionally?

hi krisiz, the wetsuit idea sounds good, i could maybe sew a few layers together and make one.

will keep looking first though.

hi mark, i have a neil pryde fin bag i won years ago at a comp (lucky draw ) which has gone the distance, it's bee na great bag.

biggest fin i can fit is 42cm, it takes about 8 fins and folds up on itself with straps around the outside and a handle. has serviced me well. just doesn't do the job these days especially with my formula fins. also only fits small wave fins.

time for an upgrade.

Maybe a good thing for somebody liek Sails and Windsurfing Centre to do as they make sails, board bags, other canvas etc stuff.
Seems there is a market for a quality BIG fin bag.......

well for me there is.

most of the bigger fin bags only have slots for 5 fins as they are also used for extensions etc.

what i'd do is make a bag that takes 10 slalom/formula fins up to 70cm, 10 wave fins up to 35cm

then allows 2-3 extensions, base plates, a screw compartment and some screw driver slots. plenty of ventilation also.
