I'd say "no". Not because it's useful info, but that rigging a sail correctly is really not that hard.

(Unless it's a North - for some reason both North's I've had (an 06 Voodoo 5.7 and 06 Crossfire 6.0) require a stupid amount of outhaul for the battens to rotate. Maybe it was just the 06s or maybe I should stop buying 2nd-hand!)

What I *do* reckon is useful is his trick of positioning your back harness line exactly 1/3 back along the sail, using the bit of elastic that comes with the cribb sheet. But I made one up myself using elastic, a couple of picture hooks and white paint - cost me around $5.

All the rigging tips (footstraps, downhaul, harness line placement, harness type, mast base position etc etc) are covered in Cribby's inspirational "Gybing" DVD. That might be a more worthwhile purchase for you.

Yeah the DVD was good. Taught me to gybe over a 6 month period. Still refer to it to fine tune my technique.

Just buy the DVD, well worth the purchase and it covers all you need...the rest can be found on his web site. That said I did buy the Cribb sheet to see if there was any hidden secrets to be uncovered...but no. The elastic 1/3 rule does work, since i've used this method my rig has been in perfect balance...just set once and forget. Delivery time was also a bit slow, about 3 months.
