bugger me i must be getting old.

i got out of bed this morning.

bounded out and onto the feet only to find the left leg not playing ball.

bloody thing was as dead as a doornail. just collapsed under me. i landed on the floor montypython style. now my toes and side of my foot are all bruised. lucky i got padded straps.

her indoors comes into the bedroom and says.

what are you doing lying on the floor?

i respond.

i'll be right love. it's only a minor problem. give us a minute and i'll try and stand up again. (i got htfu in spades)

i have never had a dead leg before? maybe i pinch something with all of the TOW of late.

I have a hip that locks up. No, I am not THAT old ... which is why it is weird....
Once a month or so I get up, can't move left leg at all... hip is frozen solid. I limp around for a while then there is an almighty crack (really loud) and she's back in. Strange.

Now, the other bedroom injuries make for more interesting reading.... this one time, at band camp.....

Nar.. it locks up in a bottom turn and i just can't come back off the top........ keep going around in circles till the next wave comes
