does anyone know where you can hold of the rubbers that go onto the inside of the boom where it interfaces with the mast for the old windsurfer one design rigs. Many thanks.

Have you considered using some fishingrod shrink grip? I used that to retape the boom and it works great and should be grippy enough for the frictionfit of the boom.www.aliexpress.com/item/1005009404868969.html 50mm should be ok to go around the mast and you could even permainstall it by heating it up so itll shrink and wrap tight.
