Thought: what about adding one or more arrow colour in the Seabreeze wind forecast and live report graphs between green (18+) and brown (35+)? Not sure if this was discussed before.
Currently, any wind between 18 and 35 knots is being displayed in the same green colour (or red if you reverse).
On a windsurfer at least, the difference between 18 knots (barely going, biggest kit) and 35 knots (howling, smallest kit and still overpowered?) is massive.
I think it would be great to add one or two colours, for instance like this:
Red: 0-10 knots, Force 3 or less
Amber: 11-16 knots, Force 4
Yellow: 17-21 knots, Force 5
Green: 22-27 knots, Force 6
Blue: 28-33 knots, Force 7
Brown: 33+ knots, Force 8
Maybe that is too much of a change for existing users although I think it would be better. A less impactful change could be adding at least one additional colour between the current
green and
brown would already be very helpful, for instance
blue from for 24+ knots so that we have 6 knot increments following the Beaufort wind scale up to Force 6.
