I've often wished I could do that. Maybe I just need to buy a helmet with a headlamp on it. Or just sail blind. What could go wrong?

It's a full moon about now, back beach would probably be ok for another night kite. Haven't done it here but have done elsewhere.

Tried night sailing at Hatteras in about 15-20. Nowhere near enough throw from the headlamp. OK going out cos I knew there were no obstructions but coming back in I thought it best to drop off the plane and limp back to shore.

Nah she'll kick early enough! Mind you that trough is pushing hard!

I'm all sailed out. Time for a surf tomorrow. Kyeemagh has been no less than 25kts all week (maxing out about 30kts on the gusts) and hot. I picked a good summer to get back in the game. Hope it keeps up... I just bought a sexy NP Fusion 4.9, and wished I'd rigged it this arvo. Sydney's been off da hook!
