She is the blame/reason why I bought a number of TIGA boards.

If there was ever any doubt the brand of board gives it away!
We're still leaving Pirrad hanging without a name blokes.
Maybe be wasn't even born in the 80s
She held the female world speed record for a while too.

World's best All-round (as in curvy) windsurfer. I too bought a Tiga 270 hoping I would run into Her and be able to strike up a conversation about how good Tiga boards are. Alas it wasn't to be.

Contemplated asking if anyone could "determine mast stiffness from picture" but decided not to go there. Tardy lost me there in his post of same title.

Yeah she is SBC, she was a super star when windsurfing was huge in Europe, the States and here.

Is there an equally recognisable windsurfer nowadays, from this era?
