Hey folks,

I'll head to Ireland for my holiday this summer. I'm wondering what to bring in the van.
I can bring up to 3 windsurf boards but if I can limit myself to 2 boards, trunk tetris will be simpler.
Options are:
Jp Supersport 100
Fanatic skate 100
Patrik tww 83
Jp thruster quad 89
Quatro pyramid 86

I try to convince myself that the 2 jp will be enough. But the Patrik is better in light float n ride and of course the Quatro is better in great conditions...

What s your thought?

Any spots advice?

Brandon Bay, County Kerry - but don't expect much swell in summer

Or a lot of wind... spent 4 weeks in August there once and sailed twice. Decent sweet though on most days.

Haven't windsurfed Ireland, yet, but surfed it a lot. Summer can be fickle, so be prepared to drive depending on weather charts, swell direction, etc. As said, Brandon bay seems to be a windsurfing mecca, but the far north can get very different conditions if there's not enough wind in the south. If taking 2 boards, one for light winds, one for med.
Take a surfboard as well....

Thanks for your answers.

I have actually been twice in Ireland in the last 8years. Both in October. And haven't sailed a lot. Once in lahinch and once in Achille Island. Both side off light wind.

I'll have surfs, sups and mtb in the van so pretty much covered for anything.

A head light for rigging in the dark like these mad men.
