Anyone know any good spots to sail a NEster in Forster? Good forecast comin up. Prefer ocean side to side.

Forster main should have some kites but onshore. Booti worth a look, off Lakes Way, although a little onshore in NE. My pick would be Old Bar or Wallaby Point, had many sails there in NE, side shore.
Halliday's I think can be good but need S/SE swell.

Hallidays back beach is a great spot, cross off wind. Just sail down the beach a bit in NE swell

Haircut, The normal lake launch spot at the sailing club in Forster is locked off at the moment as they have a big regatta on. Not sure of other good spots.

Green Point or Booti Pt. Lakes Way heading north the turn off is just before you head down the hill to the Ruins area. Bugger of a track. Search older threads, Good luck.

It's been windy in Forster almost everyday since Xmas day.

I used to sail Halliday's but hasn't had good banks for a long time, i have been heading up to wallabi point or if it's a bit lighter getting out on the freeride gear at Booti point to sail flat water.

I have always wanted to try to wavesail at the Northern end of Booti Booti but it's a bit isolated to sail alone, i think near the green point turn off would have the best wind direction.

P.C. , was at Forster over Easter & checked out northern end if Booti, didn't go down the old track but from memory it's ok for a car but I don't know if it's been blocked off. I think it would still be slightly onshore in NE.
Some moderate NE here after Xmas but nothing lately, need some southerly winds.
Sounds like plenty of wind up there...
