What is the biggest lightest sail I can rig on a 4.6 25 imcs mast?

I used to rig a North 7.8m North Warp on a 460 mast. It worked fine.

Thanks Moby, is that a cammed sail? I had an old Spectra with 3 cams, 6.5. It seemed to go better than the new 6.9 NP excess.

A North Spectra? As in the 1990 ish age?

They do feel more powerful but have waaay less range than modern sails. In modern sails you use a much larger size than what we did back in the early 90's - 6.5 = more like 7.5 now.

If you are thinking about using the same mast it most likely won't work BTW.....

it seems the new Maui Sails TR 8.4 will rig on a 460 {big enuff 4 ya ?}
however, these sails like a hard top mast
as u know - mast n sail go hand n hand !!!

For non-cam, a KA Koyote 8.2 is made for a 460 mast.

9.5 North S-type will go on a 460 with a cx. I dont know what a cx is but thats what it says on the website
