Anyone know how to remove the footstraps on a Wayler Ypsi.

Straps on some old boards you have to push them in, turn 90 degrees, then pull it out.

It's so long ago I can't remember. Weren't they one long strip of reinforced plastic held in by screws at the ends? I'm sure you could just cut them off. Might be ok to use as a SUP but there's no way you could trust that 40 year old u-joint enough to ever sail it.
