***ignore the preview pic, lol. not a troll topic!***

Here's a little edit I filmed yesterday at Gerroa.
Pretty fun little wave rolling through for both the kiters and windsurfers.
Jeez it looks good from above. Frothing to film more this season!

Enjoy and share the stoke. ..

Looks awesome! Seems like the drone holds up OK in a bit of wind. What video drone are you using?

Yeah thanks for the comments guys!
I'm using the Phantom 3 Pro. The ability to shoot in 4K is amazing.

Nice work Surfingboye - i have sailed Gerroa and that is a great perspective. The water is so smooth

Been getting some good results with mine too - the Phantom 3 is an awesome package
(I went for the non 4k advanced package)

Here is a quick demo reel of my results - i tend to use this for quick wow shots or establishing / title shots

i even did an in depth review here with a bunch of info and ideas on different shots integrated into the review
This may be a great resource if you are looking to purchase one...

and just a tip for those of you that may be looking at a 3dr solo .... dont. Great Pr and in theory the ability to fly some great automated shots - but in the real world tons of people having issues.

Great video footage mate. Makes me want to get back out there in the waves!

Interested in knowing how high does it go up and whether it can become a hazard to the Navy helicopters that fly around there?

Cheers Tony.
They have a horizontal range of a few km, so I'd say the could go pretty damn high.
Best way to prevent collisions is to fly within CASA's UAV regs and flying line of sight (a spotter makes this much easier).
