Just had another session on my Rider Quad 100 (bottom). Head high waves on a 5.4 in gusty 13-18. I love this board!

I also have an 85 twin (Fan Boi)
Fair enough it does not turn as tight as a smaller board but makes small mush or not very steep waves a heap of fun. Even slow waves can be caught.
Waves yesterday allowed for some good turns and hitting some great top turns (for me

)
It has a full wave rocker so works well on a wave but also has the get up and go to get planing before the inside whitewater North of the groyne at Dutchies. It is such a versatile board and has made my home turf sailing so much more fun.
Took it to the G and scored some awesome fun sessions in small waves / light wind when I normally wouldn't have lifted my backside off the beach. One session with only 2 of us out!
Sorry for the grainy images (taken off the video on TV)
Blade 5.3
S1 5.9
Also in these increasingly crowded times it allows an early session to have room to play before the wind kicks in and it chops up and the hordes arrive.
Gybes sweetly, plenty of real estate for tacking so I have been practising and my tacks have improved out of sight. It also jumps phenomenally but don't tell anyone because Rider will not pass on any more of his hand me downs if I break it!
Unfortunately these boards are not available for sale but if you talk to RIDER nicely he may bless you with one of his works of art (join the queue)
