something odd is happening inside my Severne race boom. After sailing I take the tail piece off on stand the boom up on end so any water can run out. The problem is it doesn't I can pick the boom up later and still hear water running around inside it. Now this is the weird bit. If I hold boom pointing upward right side in right hande left side in left hand and rotate it clockwise I hear water but none comes out. If I rotate anti clockwise water I hear water but none comes out. BUT if I rotate 180degrees clockwise then back again water comes out (doesn't if I go anti clockwise 180 then back) or if the booms laying flat in my car pointing backwards the first time I brake a load of water runs out the ends.

Ive looked down both sides with a flash light and can see no obstruction, weird

There are usually plugs in the arms . Water must be slowly getting behind one of them .

It's probably stuffed, I'll give you $50 for it.

There are usually plugs/foam inside like some masts. Eventually water makes its way in. Both my booms have water in them. Sucks for the aluminum one.
