When did she hit 38kts? I saw the log hit 33 as she surfed, but I find 38 a bit harder to believe. Takes a lot more effort to get that extra 5 knots...

^^Wow that's intense. I had no idea they went that fast. With all the spray coming over the deck you'd have to be careful not to spill your beer.

Now that was sh#t hot!

That open ocean sailling is so out there ,balls of steel for any body crossing the straight,even saw some sheellas running the gauntlet, hats off too you all. Great footage , there is no way you would get me out there on the straight ,only on a big steel boat, called the spirit,and that would be hell in its self. Awesome, full points for ka hunnas even at 30 knots .gave me a bigger perspective on stupidity, the harshest open ocean race on the planet , fully sick brother.
