Volume board
Hey
i am a 67kg windsurfer looking for my next freestyle board.
i use following sails 3.6, 4.9, 6.1 and sometimes 6.5 to get an extra Day on the water.
My board is now a fanatic skate 99ltr, Which i am very Happy with.
I just started landing volcans and i am trying for Spock and flaka.

But now it is time for a new board, would a 90ltr or 100ltr be best for my skills and Weight?

Thanks
mathias

yo yo

yeah I also recommend the 90l, the 100l will quickly be too big for your weight and there is no real advantage to using it, they will both plane as early. If you get the 90l that is all you will ever need, even if you became pro ;)

Also agree with Bertie, someone your weight doesn't need a 6.5m for freestyle, actually most freestyle sailors won't use bigger than 5.2 or maybe 5.4 regardless of weight. Whilst you can plane earlier on bigger sails, you won't be going fast enough to do very much, you can pump a small sail easier plus its more manoeuvrable during moves.

Def the 90.

I'm 82kg and use a Tabou 100.

I've used 6.2 before and have just bought one yesterday to ensure time-on-the-water. Yes, they're big but I can still spock it. For anything more extreme/powermove it'll be too big, but I'm not good enough to be throwing Burners.
