I have used BOGE hourglass uni's for ever. Best I have found so far. Had a few break eventually, but usually there are warning signs and I should have changed them.

Some of mine are 10 years old and no signs of imminent failure. (I have about 5 that I rotate in use)
On the other hand, I thought the idea of the tendon joints was that they were supposed to be virtually failure proof?? But in practice, I seem to see and hear about just as many, or more failures than hourglass joints. Has anyone who has used both got a more objective read in it?
Is it just an issue of there being some poor quality tendons around, like there is with Hourglass ini's?
