Does anyone go there to windsurf? Looks ideal.

Looks like you could get some really nice flat water for speed sailing, might have to go son. As it seems it's sinking or rather the waters rising and the high point is only a few meters above sea level

I thought that too but it's probably not windy enough

I've been to Tuvalu three times. Never seen the wind above 5 knots. Once in May, once in June and once in November

If the wind was blowing I can see the potential. I'm a kiter and wingfoiler though, so maybe not the best judge for windsurfing.

But the biggest challenge would be getting your gear there - two flights per week, and routinely get your luggage bumped to a later flight. I think the most likely thing is you would sit on the beach without gear feeling frustrated.

And a word of warning - do not try to windsurf on a Sunday. Most things are illegal on the sabbath, and your gear might be confiscated.

7 degrees south of the equator, so it's on the edge of the doldrums.
