I haven't used one yet, but from the feedback I've got they are the best landboards around for windsurfers.
The way the wheels work makes the board awesome for learning freestyle type maneuvers, much better than the other brands with skate-board style trucks.
I am putting an order together, so if you are keen let me know as I'm pretty sure I can do a better price than $800.

Sorry mate, probably didn't explain it very clearly on my last post.
I'm getting anyone who's interested to pre-order (with a deposit) and then I'm putting an order in with Turf Dog. The more boards ordered the cheaper they become, mostly due to freight.

PS They're bad on rigs (and limbs) if you use them on bitumen carparks or hard ground, but they're fine if you sail them on the beach. Grass ovals are meant to be good too.

Yeah, I've got one - the freestyle one. You'd be damn lucky to get one on ebay, and I'm pretty sure there isn;t an Australian importer yet. They're best on hard-ish sand / dirt, but because I live in Melbourne I generally use mine on the carpark and Green Point.

It's great for when I get down there and the wind isn't playing ball - I just rig up and go for a play and wait for the wind to turn up, and then I go get wet. Pretty useful to learn complex sail handling like heli-tacking, Flakas, upwind 360s. Vulcans are hard because of the backside rotation... but I can switch-vulcan it because that's front-side rotation.

They don't run as well on grass as you'd be lead to believe - it's gotta be a pretty smooth, short grass to get going well enough, but when it's windy and you've got a big open space and plenty of upwind clearance they can be ok. As I say, hard sand is the best, but not in great supply in Melbourne.

I honestly wouldn't recommend using them on a carpark unless you're pretty good at rig control and very light on your feet - when it starts to go wrong you've gotta get off it, stay on your feet and ensure the rig doesn;t hit the deck - I recommend having your footstraps set up so they're HUGE so you can just suck your feet out. I've dropped mine once, and yes, I damaged the boom.

If you do decide to use it on tarmac, then get some pipeinsulation and duct tape from bunnings and use it to protect the front and back of the board - not the prettiest, but it prevents damage.

The other thing I would recommend is to keep a bike-pump handy at all times, because they run really badly unless the front tyres are rock hard, and they do tend to deflate a little over time.

I love mine, but fully aware they're not cheap!
