Hi all,
Wondering if people have any good ideas for reuse of old windsurfing boards once damaged beyond economic repair, other than for turning into a windsurf board fence as I one saw or hanging on the wall. Seems a terrible environmental waste to toss into the skip?!

Cut it in half down the centre line and use it as a shelf in the shed

Turn em upside down put short legs on them and they make great garden chairs . ( stools)
also ..they make great grass hill sliders . Or sand.

I gave one away to a guy who cut the sides off and re-glassed the cut edges for canoe outriggers.

Hi Ant,

That is really narrow. How did it go in those winter storms when everything else is out of control? Does it get on then plane then? Fun to sail or too difficult?

Hi,
board looks like one I helped make in Byron . Was specific.y ment to be a table. deb tinker is an artist down there and we made two or three I think

I nailed one in a tree for the kids to sit on.

Outdoor seats
gate piece
pool toy
leave it on someone else's roof racks at bunnings
cover a hole in the roof
insert into a concrete slab
add small wheels for a garage crawler or giant skate board
giant wind chime
