My board is taking on water
I believe through the air vent hole. There is no damage to the board , no cracks that I'm aware of. When not in use , I hang it upside down on the ceiling of the shed, to find a small puddle afterwards ( really quite small)
Even after a sail I can never feel any water swish around in the board
Whats the best way to get it all out.
Has anyone else had this
Will it damage the board
Are faulty air vent a thing. Are they a one way valve?? any input will help

I had a vent that leaked a little from new. The problem was when the thread was tapped it tore out a bit such that the o-ring didn't contact a flat surface. To see the problem I had to shine a torch in there.

I found instructions here on SB to recreate a flat surface using JB Weld. This worked for a while but eventually the new surface cracked and back to square one. In the end i purchased a plastic vent plug from surfsail and shaped the ouside of it such that i could just epoxy it inside the existing vent cavity. Worked a treat.

In terms of drying.... rolled up paper towel in vent hole to wick moisture. When paper is no longer wet you are probably pretty close to dry.
