Any good places to sail the river on a sou-east? Can only think of Pelican Point - but through the moored boats etc across to Pt Walter.

Cheers

Tony, went off Pt Majestic,(near jetty take off) across to Peli and back at about midday. Got very painful with the gusting conditions. Only did one run over and back.
Hard thing is this afternoon is Swan river yacht club race day, so its a bit of a challenge staying away from a fleet of those fine chaps.
Tomorrow morning same place should be OK,

Mineral.
PS Will text u if I go.

I was teaching windsurfing down at Point Walter today and it would have been great if I saw a couple of windsurfers out, the place was owned by kitesurfers, it would have been beautiful at walter today for speed sailin or freestyle or something like that

Unless I am really desperate, I prefer not to go out on Easterlies. There is never much weight in the wind and it is all over the place.

Point Walter can be really interesting with the yachets comming through the neck. The swell is often quite ocean like and then the wind drops. Considering they are also wind driven, they don't appear to have too much courtesy when it comes to giving some water. They must be racing for a really valuable mantle piece filler.

Anyway, I think I will stay home and polish my mast foot, and wait for the wind after work during the week. Good old daylight saving.
