I read the serial number like this:

U80=80litres, 0106=manufactured June, 2001 (2002 SB range), 087=board number 87

i could miles off, but I'm pretty sure it's a 2002, my mates favourite old board was his Carve 121, 2002 and it had same graphics as yours

reckon could be, 2001, then o6 For June , 087 remains.
anyrate it sounds a 2002.

Yep, 2002 is right. Manufacturers bring their kit out the year before. SB 2021 kit already manufactured in 2020 and so on..........
