You just never know when you might end up in a race where you may have to pick off the smallest wave of the set to get you in safely
This was at Lano' Mainbreak Friday before Sat's Marathon, had just been punching my way in and out of Hole in the Wall a few times to scope a few paths in and out for the race finish, it was not breaking as big there. Koster and some of the local wavesailing crew were hitting Mainbreak so I headed down for a closer look
By Sat' the swell had dropped for the race and no drama getting in.
