Took a trip down to Point Walter to get some more Wizards Of OZ Footage - and the crew turned on some wicked runs -the breeze was 30 plus , the light was magic and the tide was low.

"it is a quite flat and windy spot but after a couple of runs i find it incredibly boring." Pete, on flat water you need to be going fast and be well powered up for it not to get boring. You should try it.
Slowboat, Nice to see you had your team mascot swanning around in the shallows as well - has there ever been any close calls as I suspect hitting one of those swans at speed would be an experience (not boring at all )
One would not want to tangle with a black swan. They have masterful ninja skills.
No they are pretty sedate. I came close to them a few times but they werent fazed. Definitely dont recommend trying to sail through them. They arent as quick off the mark as seaguls.

Beautiful videography (is that what it's called?) there Matt.
I have watched this about ten times already and shown it to heaps of mates.
Speedsailing often looks quite dull on video as it seems hard to really capture that sensation of speed, but I reckon you have really done it here. There is one particularly sick run there off Slowy's and you can see and feel all 45 knots worth.
yeah thanks Matt you did a great job. Looks awesome and does capture the place well. I think one of those runs was the one where I hit 45 for a few seconds. Very peaky run with loads of accelleration in the middle. Awesome feeling when that happens.

(if it doesn't work straight away its just transcoding on the host end -it wont be long)
I think Chris did a hi 43 on this day.
Wow!If we had somewhere around here suitable Id love to give it a go!
Sue ,if you like the look of flat water, come on down to the Pit for a taste of the flatest water you have ever seen. Or come for two weeks in October for Speedfortnight.
