Hi folks, the slalom nationals are being held at Sandy Point this November 4th - 8th. In previous years, I and others have booked houses for the duration of various events.

If you are coming for the event and need somewhere to stay, let me know as there are a few beds available.

I'm not all that familiar with what format the racing will take - I'd imaging double-elimination or something like that, over 3 days with a spare 2 days for low/no wind.

It is expected that about 30 or sailors will be heading there for the racing, with their families coming too - and the expectation is that they will get there a few days earlier for some fun sailing.

In previous year, there is almost always wind and if the weather really tuns on, it has been mentioned that racing might be postponed for a day to allow the sailors to get onto the famous speed run.

I'll be helping out, and if my gear is ready, I might even do a race or two....
