I've got a 2012 5.3m S-1 and am considering upgrading to a 2013 or later model. Apart from the number of battens being reduced from 5 to 4, can anyone who has sailed the 2012 and also later models comment on the differences/advantages etc? I would have thought that the weight would have dropped going to 4 battens, but on the website it's listed as exactly the same across all years from 2012 onwards. I also wonder how the reduced number of battens affects sail stability, especially in the upper range.

I really like the feel of the 2012, but if the later models were even better (and lighter), I'd be very tempted.
