Could someone with the subject boom do me a favour and measure it across the widest part, say tube centre to tube centre and same at the tail. I want to get a feel for the shape compared to the old v1 180-226 boom. Thanks

used it for first time today, the v grip deffinately likes my forearms but not my hands. No arm pump at all but lots of missing skin from palms.

^^ Ben how is skin missing from palms? Ive experimented with many Vgrips n custom my own Vgrips from HD EVA. From my experience Vgrip Boom usually pulls into fingers more than across palms.

46cm widest part, is about where the No.3 harness line marker is
39cm width where there tubes bend towards the tail
19 width at tail

ignor all that, just measured the 180-230 by mistake

Guess it's just hitting about an inch below where my old boom hit and the skin if not so tough there yet

Haha, thought those numbers were really close to my 180-226

505mm centre to centre at widest part and 170mm centre to centre at the 170cm mark on the tail piece
