I am using a Fiberspar 490 30%
can't say it enuff - 75% or more + HARD top
please
PLEASE do not defile the sail to make it fit the mast
Yip Joe's spot on, most of the time rotation is an issue with the mast curve (but as others have mentioned spacers and batten tension), I've had Turbo's (great sails before i moved to reflex's) on other masts and had the same issues. Do you have the hard/constant/soft top version of the Fibrespar?
www.unifiber.net/masts-selectorIn the graph above you'll see Severne sits in the cusp of the hard to constant curve boundary, if you have a soft top then you'll be in trouble but potentially still have difficulty with a constant curve. Sail Works are almost the opposite (sitting bordering on constant to soft). This may be contributing to your problems
Ideally if you could locate a Severne Blue Line 490 for a good price as they are older stock you would have the ideal mast.
