Nah, she's a sweetie really, and she spends more time with her horses than me so any other day of the year I can sail as long as I like. Think I might keep this one for a while.

Windsurfing's clean, healthy fun, at least until I come home very thirsty that is. So I don't normally cop any grief for it.

You could always have pointed out that by missing her work party, at least you didn't end up flirting with her younger/hotter colleague and cranking up the photocopier.

Make sure it's windy for the following few days if you try that svelte move tho.
