30m! Agreed, LeeD would have had a ketch rig somehow linked with another 20m of sail. Part of the rich tapestry.

And it still better than what we have now. I mean Robbie was better on 1990 gear than we mere mortals are now... etc

I think that was the day that Gary Gibson tried to use a 13m sail on a 260 sinker. There wasn't enough wind to water start so they held him from above on a bridge and then let him go, don't think he made it too far.
