I think you mean tune rather than trim. Trim is the adjustments while sailing, how much you're sheeted in really.

In pure sailing terms, Trimming is when you are on the water. You trim the board or sail. I would change the term to Tuning the sail.
Would also suggest you talk about the Down Haul first then the Out Haul, as adjusting the Down Haul automatically changes the Out Haul setting.

A big mistake I see a lot of newbies do is when connecting the sail to the boom end, they leave a big gap. Boom length should be adjusted so that sail is as close as possible to the boom end. Agree with the Trimming vs Tuning as above.
With Downhaul and Outhaul, maybe mention to look at sails recommendations on settings.

many sails with no cambers now have 2 clew holes at the outhaul - worth mentioning ?

when downhaul is set correctly - how far is pulley from mast extension pulley ?

okay to put mast sticking out the top - some say "no way"

mast/sail compatibility ??

tuning on the water ?? tuning before changing - change fin rather than sail ??

adjustable outhaul ??

one can go far with such a subject - or keep it simple

I have changed the title to tuning rather that trimming as the terminology should be correct :)

As to most of the other things, I think they should be covered in the rigging of the sail (which I covered here howtowindsurf101.com/rig-windsurf-sail/ a while back). I guess it is tricky to say where the correct rigging ends and tuning starts.

I will also include the fact that the downhaul should be changed first and only then the outhaul.

I tried to keep this article as simple as I could get away with as the idea is to give newbies some actionable advice without information overload.

The pronunciation of my name depends of who says it :P Árne (with the rolling "r") from my Spanish friends, my German family calls me Ahne, and in my English school it was always Arnie. I will respond to any hehehe.
