ive just bought a 2014 Blade 4.5, it recommends rigging on a 370 mast and it says a 400 mast can also be used, but the head isn't adjustable. Any ideas?
Yep - thats what I do - dont know if it adds any extra pressure around base of mast / adversely effects things but that's the way I have been rigging my 4.5 2015 blade for past 6 months and haven't had an issue - using a gorilla 400 & Powerex 400 - 97 carbon.
Someone with a bit more carbon mast knowledge may say use a flat collar without the pin to prevent damage

Yeah I thought this was a no no, but could be wrong.
I'd not do it.....driving a wedge up something that sometimes splits at the bottom anyway..... Make a washer out of a bit of stainless or ally to sit on the taper first would be a lot safer and you will only lose a few mm
I've just bought the exact same sail and used it first time last week. Rigs on a 400 Gorilla mast with a severne grenade ext at 4 with no probs. Sweet sail, nice and light but with plenty of grunt
