I am in Geraldton W.A. restoring a sailing ex cray boat. Our engine is a Perkins 4-236 U marine diesel which needs a Serck heat exchanger no. 445144011 and a Serck Engine oil cooler. Any information leading to used or recon parts somewhere within Australia would be greatly appreciated.
A Perkins diesel cannot be that old, 30 years max? This is almost the average boat age at my local yachting club... Restoring the craft is often more work than the motor itself... good luck there.
Doesn't help you any 2Aloha but saw some beautifully restored boats of all kinds at Hobart's Wooden Boat Festival on the weekend. Sailing ex cray boat, gorgeous.
