Just wondering whats the best way to get the old ones off a carbon boom, they seem to be glued or very tight, I was thinking maybe cutting the plastic down the length of the clip and maybe spreading them open.

yep spot on .
but sometimes a Multi grips help to twist them and to break the grip of the glue. This is the first method i'd try.

You only need to replace half the clip. The half with the 2 cent "stainless" pin in it rusts, that is the bit you need to swap. Leave the other bit attached and save a headache for yourself.

Easier to replace the boom rather than the clips.

Ha ha I know you luv your Np booms and accessories this one has had plenty of use and still going strong except for the clips so can't complain

Good idea ended up just replacing the clip part, too easy.

Use Chinook clips. A bit pricey but come with a high quality boom already attached. Simple!
