Hi, just a quick question.
What is that tubing along the back of waist harnesses ? Is it a safety for kiting ?
I am looking at buying a new one for windsurf/foil. Hard to find in Australia.
Thanks.

it is for kite surfing you can take them off but I just leave them on because I can't be bothered to take them off
they don't get in the way of anything

Good spot to strap your board leash to when wingfoiling.

What Aus 2459 said. Remember to check that the hook is for Windsurfing and not for kiting.

What Willy said.

its where they attach their kite leash so they can do their stupid back flippys and whoopsie doodles.

and yes, if it has one of those, check the hook doesn't have out turning beaks on the tip (kite hook) as they can trap you under the sail if your lines twist around them in a catapult. (It can happen easier than you think)
