thanks for that - sometimes it pays to be a doofus - me that is

windsurfers and kiters need each other actually
we can fight for the same things - clean water and access for all !!

and have fun together on that same water

I see you have the vision and I guess you're using your iPhone to see what's in frame, sure makes a difference. I got myself a cheap gimbal for my Phantom 1 but it was crap so I took it off and have now gone back to plan A. I look forward to seeing some more of your videos

Surprisingly very stable, how windy was it?
I noticed the windsurfers pumping so I am guessing not very windy.

I also thought it would make a good whippa-snippa for heavilly weeded areas

Great stuff Peanuticus, just what I needed for the winter blues. Surprising how stable your phantom is, wind up at that height would have been quite a bit stronger than at ground level. Keep it up.

Nice work mate. Love the angles you chose for the kites. Makes you feel close to the action even though you are miles aways from the sailor.

Did you shoot the slow motion in camera? I have been looking at the Phantom Vision 2+ but all the footage I have seen so far was done by people somehow related to DJI in a financial sense. So you never know if you can trust what you see. This is the first footage I have seen that would sway me towards buying one.

Where did you get yours?

thats the vision+ 720p@60 slowed to 30fps

the vid is OK but lacks in MB/s rather than quality. water can really screw it up. a go pro 3black can pump out 40+mb/s whilst this is about 12MB/s. That is all important in mpeg terms.

It was a gusty 18-25knots maybe with squalls from the clouds. i didn't do anything the footage. the phantoms 2's are incredible out the box
