Gee User, why did you have to come out of the closet, on the windsurf forum ? Oh well, well done I suppose. If you missed a good website for your types to go to, ask Bubs, he has the link. Not that there is anything wrong with it.

There are only two wind-driven boardriding sports....
poleboarding and kiting.
(Parasailing doesn't rate). lol.

Guys like Robby Naish and Pete Cabrinha are your quintessential 'complete' sailors.
They are masters and pioneers of both sports.
The haters are the one-trick ponies wearing blinkers.

If a poley wants to be the 'complete' sailor, he knows what he must do.
Being a newbie and learning a new sport is fun.
I personally don't care about the completeness of other sailors.
The less kite-kooks in the break, the better.

^^ I'd rather try and be really good at one sport than average at two. Given the TOW we get here in NSW for both kiting and windsurfing I don't think it's really enough to excel at both unless you're on the dole/independently wealthy and can go kiting/windsurfing at the drop of a hat. Hence seeing i've been windsurfing for 10 or so years now, i'll stick to it.

Click here to find out what Pete Cabrinha does when he is not surfing giant waves !

www.cabrinha.com/

Not sure if he does any windsurfing anymore, but he used to be on the Gaastra (windsurf) team with Robby Naish back in the day. He was always overshadowed by Robby Naish in the windsurf video's so I'm not surprised he found something easier to do!

Robbie is fully into kitesurfing as well.

In fact,Naish is widely credited with creating the sport. It was the Naish 4 line depowerable kites that made kiting what it is today.

www.naishkites.com/

So all you haters can thank your legend "ex" windsurfers for your misery !

Weep on !

this guy is a major knob, don't you all think? um, Naish used to kite about half the time, but now he windsurfs 99% of the time, he kites only to promote Naish Kites, he would be stupid not to be seen using his Kites, bad publicity.

Someone lend this knob head The Windsurf Movie so he will leave us alone..

And this topic is all about photo's duh.

A big wave like that would wipe out Perth, if my memory of the flat topography over there serves me correct.

Anyway this kiting vs windsurfing argument is pretty old now and isn't going to be won. So stop baiting and flaming each other. Who won the argument in my avatar?

I think that the forums should be split up into Windsurfers and Gaysurfers oops I mean Kitesufferers and If you are registered in one you cant log into the other unless you register with a new login name and password for that interest. This would reduce the amount of L user s dribbling on in the windsurf forum, the gaysurfers can then just annoy each other in there own little forum.

Ha Ha. Hey I like it Luser as in looser. From now on he wants to be called Luser let it be known that from now on when ever any one sees his log in in our minds it will show as Luser.

The best thing about windsurfing is that as it's no longer a fad sport, all the show ponies like luser have left and and now strut their wanna be stuff by hanging off some strings.

Ha Ha sucked in luser

Hi Luser, Gay aint an insult, especially for you with your handles on your backside (hmmm I wonder what the handles for ) - I'm sure you wear it like a badge of honour. Now if we called you Fa$$ot - that would then be an insult - lets see that term is usually for those people that way inclined who can't help but flaunt it in everyone's face in every way possible (so pathetic) - remind you of any sport?

Slashdot has it figured out.

Simply mod it "-1, flamebait".

A couple of clicks later and no-one sees the troll.

Is that what they call "busting big air off the top",
or maybe "arcing off the curtain" perhaps?
I never could get my head around all these fancy surfing terms.
I always thought "arcing off the curtain" was something you did in the
toilets.
I guess i'm just behind the times.
I'll just go take my medication now and read a book and try to catch up.

Poley's, emotion clouds your judgement like macular degeneration clouds your vision. Typical of elderly foke you are scared of anything new or different and find it threatening. It's human nature to hate what we fear.

Red5 i don't hate kiters ..I feel sorry for them that they don't have the skills to learn how to windsurf . I'm sure the majority of kiters tried at one stage but it was the old "i sailed out but i coudn't get back" So they took up a sport that wasn't so demanding on their limited intelligence.

Hope your missus wasn't reading over your shoulder when you wrote that one... unless she has tatts and is in the Navy?
