How high was he jumping to get his fin on your kite? How did it happen? In the mean time the windsurfers will appreciate that you got some good shots for their album.
Nah I was way down the beach, should have self launched like normal but he came in for a yarn and left his board upside down 1m downwind of the kite. The line was caught on a snag so it bucked, noones fault really but sh!t for my new toy!

fair enough sorry to hear about the damage, it's just one of my peeves when the kiters set up and leave their lines across the only "track" when all it takes was to move another 10m down the beach.
They set the kites up on one side of the track and trail the strings across the walkway, often more than one kite at a time. The strings are fine, you can barely see them and you carrying all your kit, its amazing more people dont get tangled up.
anyway, as I said just one of my personal peeves, no need to get "strung out" about it :)
