Bit of a climatic day today ... I bet Alberto was sweating bullets after OCS'ing that quarter final ... good to see someone from the next generation on the podium for a change though!

Awesome looking sails too. Good to see Qantas getting behind our sport, I assume they are supplying a degree of sponsorship? I actually work for Qantas and was unaware they sponsor windsurfing.

Qantas have actually really stepped up to the plate with windsurfing recently. The last few Formula Nationals (and the upcoming Green Island Nationals) have all been supported with free tickets as prizes and good baggage deals for anyone flying to compete ... Also I assume the new pay-per-bag concept they've introduced COMPLETELY came about from windsurfers! (yeah, I'm claiming it!!!! haha).
Now to get Qantas' new ambass' Miranda Kerr out on a windsurfer.......

Yes they have always been pretty good moving gear about the country for us. Good to see they are getting behind the sport some more. We have loads of kiters at work so best we make sure they don't hijack windsurfings support!
