3 days of epic racing, even if Marrotti & Alabau had it sown up before the last race. They have their foil sailing polished, it didnt look easy conditions.
Once they had the uploading sorted without lagging the coverage was excellent as well. Drones chasing them around the course made the different, lenses on the beach looking upwind through the spray didnt give as clear pictures.
Jimmy Thieme, fin winner, used 6.8m and medium board, 116l/71.5cm for every race. Not the size you would think of for Pozo conditions, the wind was a bit light. Maybe thats why Matteo Iachino was a bit down on speed in some races when he was on the fin. His smallest foil gear was 6m sail and 690 wing. Did he gamble on it being windier at Pozo, or maybe he isnt as fast on smaller foil kit as his fin. Those solely on foils had 5.1m or thereabouts as their smallest and used that. The Pryde foils are 82cm/613 and 72/496.
Blanca Alabau's smallest foil sail was 5m (4.6m fin sail, but doubt she used that). Roughly the same size as some of the sails the men were using. Top skills. She said she had done a lot of training with that kit, and it showed.
