Ok, I admit from the start that this is a pretty boring post, but I don't care cause I think its pretty cool.

The veiw from my office window is of some large storage tanks across the road. Once of the tanks has a windsock which I glance at frequently to see what direction the wind is blowing and how strong it is. It was very handy during the summer months.

Last week I noticed that it was looking pretty tattered (pretty much shredded), and was alarmed that my trusty windsock would be no more.

How stoked was I on Tuesday morning to see that the guys over the road had replaced my windsock with a brandnew shiny red one, already for another season

I know this is a lame post and I clearly need to get out more, but I thought it was kind of cool.

Not lame at all. It's the little things that get us through winter.

The Seabreeze wind gague down the end of our street got us fired up a bit but so far it's readings have been pretty disappointing.

Bring on Summer.

Photos would have certainly turned your story from lame to interesting.

Yeah but it doesn't work though. Or maybe there truly is zero wind all the time.

If it gets back in action it should be an OK indicator of Summer Nor'easters.
