Does anyone know about a Mistral Concept ? It looks identical to my One Design But is pasty yellow ugly . It's not the newer yellow version of my pink one . It kinda looks special . Is it different construction , I can't find any info on it .

I agree it looks like the shape of a one design. I'm guessing late '90's.
Maybe it's lighter. Does it have a powerbox and a good gasket?
Does it come with Mistral sails?

yeah i saw that too , pretty sure its a one-design.
I had a plain white imco that was an early powerbox model and I think came just before they did the board with the Atlanta '96 graphic , I reckon that is the same board and likely has a one design sticker on the other rail not shown.
the ugly yellow is most likely a backyard sugar re-grip .
not sure about the Concept label that some Mistrals had mid 1990's , I think it refers to their M-tech construction that Mistral say is a sandwich construction with ASA skin.
there's a Screamer with the Concept label here ;

I suspect as does fJdoug that the yellowing is due to the deck grip being upgraded with an epoxy resin which yellows with age. The Atlanta board was 94-95-96: see below:

That's a 1998 one design. 1997 and 1998 both looked the same, but the 1997 had a **** mast track with no numbers on it.

There are a few different colours/patterns on the IMCOs. Mine is purle/blue/white (mid 90s). I have seen a mainly yellow like this on a few from that era.

i saw that too , quite certain its a one-design.
I had a undeniable white imco that turned into an early powerbox version and i suppose came just earlier than they did the board with the Atlanta '96 graphic , I reckon this is the same board and likely has a one design sticker on the other rail no longer proven.
the ugly yellow is most probably a backyard sugar re-grip .
not sure approximately the idea label that a few Mistrals had mid 1990's , I think it refers to their M-tech construction that Mistral say is a sandwich creation with ASA pores and sk

Naaa , I've got a perfect OD . I could have been interested if it was a special lighter version . I thought it might have been one without the plastic wrap by the look of the color . Much easier to repair and fit a powerbox .
